This training will help inspectors gain confidence to perform remote inspections based on the ACA Best Practices; save time and money for inspectors, certifiers, and certified operators by increasing technological proficiencies; and keep inspectors working. It was born out of the need for inspectors to adapt their inspection techniques and protocols in the time of Covid-19.

If you register for this training, you will be provided an individual password to access www.ioiavirtualinspections.com, a training website that houses remote inspection resources for inspectors and certifiers. These resources include a recording of the June 1, 2020, live IOIA webinar "Remote Inspection Training". The password is good for one year from registration. The website will be updated periodically throughout the year.

This training is a three step process.

Step 1: Register and pay here, please do not use the link above.

Step 2: You will receive access to a self-directed web based resource, www.ioiavirtualinspections.com. You must create an individual account. Note that this is a prototype website and you will be asked to join “mysite” before access.

Step 3: After completing the on-line course, you may request to take an online exam. The webinar exam is optional. However, successful completion of the online Exam is required to receive a Certificate of Completion.
