MOSA was established in 1999 to serve the needs of producers and processors in the Midwest looking for a high quality, sensible organic certification program. We offer independent, third party certification services to interested producers and processors. We are accredited under the NOP. We are members of the Organic Trade Association (OTA), IOIA, OMRI, the Accredited Certifiers Association (ACA), and IFOAM. MOSA uses both staff and independent inspectors. Most MOSA-certified operations are in the Midwest, but we have clients throughout the US.

We require all inspectors to fill out a MOSA inspector application form as part of the endorsement process. MOSA farm inspectors need both crop and livestock training and experience. To request an inspector application, please contact our office.
