About the Webinar:
The topic is an essential one, given the requirement in Strengthening Organic Enforcement (SOE) for certifiers to do SCTAs and the limited expertise available to conduct them. Garth Kahl and Angela Wartes-Kahl's presentation on Supply Chain Traceability Audits, delivered in-person at the 2025 advanced training in Montana, was very well received.
Garth Kahl, IOIA Trainer and one of the founders of the Organic Integrity Cooperative, will present this single 3-hour session. Garth is a highly experienced, multi-scope inspector; organic consultant; and certified organic farmer.
The Organic Integrity Cooperative is a cooperative of organic inspectors, trainers, and consultants. They specialize in tailored compliance consulting and investigation, training, and internal audits that strengthen certification and quality systems.

Requirements
Criteria to receive a Certificate of Completion for Advanced Training include having conducted at least 20 inspections and completion of at least one basic inspector training. Others are welcome to register but will receive a Certificate of SCTA Workshop.
