Course Description
Five Sessions - January 8 - 12, 2024 commencing AEST 1pm
Online time 3-4 hours each session.
Homework 3-4 hours after each session
Organic Grower Group Inspection is an intensive 5 day course for inspectors of certified organic programs; to add grower group inspections to skills base.
This course may also be useful for Technical staff/Certifying Body Reviewers.
The course comprises of 5 x 4 hour online sessions + homework exercises after each online session.
Primary standard is USDA NOP regulations, also addressing EU regulations and IFOAM Norms.
Enrollment is limited to 10 participants.
A Prerequisite to this course is prior experience in certified organic inspection/review. Homework exercises must be completed and returned by nominated due date to receive a statement of attainment ( 70% PASS)
Trainer: Kathe Purvis, Australian based trainer, facilitator, inspector, 20+ years experience in grower group inspections, USDA NOP , EU and international norms for organic inspections.
